I’m really glad for the positive response I’ve had so far to TWIW, but I’m just hoping that the continued comments of “it’s nice to see Reid being the strong one” are referring to the reversal of roles we normally see in fanfic rather than an insinuation that Morgan is intrinsically weak in the ‘verse because he’s a victim of domestic violence. It’s incorrect to assume that someone has to be weak to become a victim of abuse. Abuse is a monster with a changing face, changing tactics, and people don’t necessarily become victims because of an inherent weakness.
