well vampires are able to break a lot of rules, because if they couldn’t they wouldn’t be able to have erections because their heart doesn’t beat so they wouldn’t have more blood in their penis for one

that depends if your vampires are more on the side of fantasy/magic or pseudo-science. i usually write vamps with heartbeats (basically functional but with added vampire extras like the thirst/need to blood etc)

but as regenerative healing is usually part of that, i dunno how tattoos would fare
